10MarR.I.P. my XBOX 360 ;(

After much denial and avoidance to face the truth - and by “avoidance”, I mean not replugging cables and the power supply to check if *it* is so or not - the red rings of death seem to be permanent.

XBOX 360 red rings :(

I am sad, extremely sad. I remember the day I took you home, I felt like a child again. I ended up renting Viva Piñata and thought it was the most awesomest thing ever. My library has then improved over the past year, saving humans from Locusts was much more thrilling than inbreeding piñatas. You offered me a different experience - I still get chills thinking of Splicers popping out of nowhere… lying there, dead and still twiching…, and still I stroll around the city believing I can parkour anything and wish I could just throw knives as accurately as Altaïr would. I was proud of my game accomplishments, despite not having one fully finished game.

But it was only a little over a month ago that I truly appreciated your presence in my life when I finally signed up for XBOX Live. You had so much to offer, your ability of connecting people who share common interests and games together, no matter the distance. You and I have expensive tastes, never once was it an issue dropping a couple of points, using my credit card at the Marketplace. And for the first time in my life, I finally experienced Halo 3. How I’ll miss instant kills with a gravity hammer and giggling afterwards while my friend freaks out at me on the other end.

Oh cruel gaming-world! Why do you taunt me with these flashing red lights!?!?
